About this event

Al Barari Playground in Dubai is an outdoor children’s park set in the lush gardens of Al Barari, combining a water park and splash pads with climbing frames, a zipline, swings and small-animal touches such as child camel and pony rides. Found on the lower ground floor of Seventh Heaven in Al Barari, it is built for families with babies, toddlers and children up to their early teens who want a green, outdoor alternative to an indoor play centre.

Water Play at Al Barari Playground

Water is the big draw. The playground has three water and splash-pad areas, including a beach that is suitable from crawling age, and the splash and pool areas are temperature-controlled, which helps keep them comfortable for little ones. The zones are split by age: the Toddler Aqua Oasis is designed for children up to four years old, while the Adventure Splash Zone caters for children from four up to 14. Together they make up what the park calls the Al Barari Water Park.

Your admission includes a maximum of one hour in the water, beach and splash-pad areas, plus an additional hour in the dry play areas. Water play areas close by 7.30pm, so build your visit around that if splashing is the priority.

Climbing, Swings and Garden Activities

Away from the water, the dry side of the park is about climbing and swinging. There is a climbing structure with a zipline, a giant swing and a toddler swing, along with multi-level play areas to explore. Older children can try the tree-top trampoline, which is only open to children aged four and over, and grip socks are mandatory there.

The setting reflects Al Barari’s focus on greenery. Children can wander through the Vegetable Patch, and the child camel and pony rides add a small touch of Arabian charm to the visit. Al Barari also runs baby and toddler classes and a summer camp, and birthday parties must be booked directly through the playground team as one of their packages. The 2026 summer camp ran between 6 July and 28 August, and holiday programmes such as the Eid splash party have added foam disco sessions, water games, messy play for babies and African drumming to the usual line-up.

Food on Site

Outside food and drinks are not allowed into the playground, so refreshments come from the on-site options. The Dairy Shed serves gluten-free ice cream, while the Guilt Burger shop offers hot dogs, fries and vegetarian burgers. Glassware and alcohol are also not permitted.

Opening Hours and Visiting Rules

The playground opens between 8am and 8pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Monday arrangements differ between listings: the ticket listing and an October 2025 guide describe a ladies’ session between 2pm and 8pm, open to women and boys under ten, while other listings show Monday as closed. Check the current Monday policy before planning a visit that day.

Tickets are non-refundable once bought, and you should carry a valid photo ID. Casual, appropriate clothing is fine, with swimwear for the water areas. The park is suitable for all ages, including expectant mothers.

Getting to Al Barari

Al Barari sits in Wadi Al Safa 3, and the playground is easiest to reach by car, with nearby public parking available for a small fee. Taxis also run there from across Dubai, and drivers generally know the community.
