How to list your event in Dubai and the UAE for free
Thingstodo.ae is a free events guide for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the UAE. If you organise concerts, workshops, networking evenings, community meetups, kids’ activities, wellness sessions or exhibitions, you can submit your event here and we will add it to our calendar once we have checked the details. Listing is free, and there is no account to create.
Why list your event with us
- It is free. We do not charge organisers to be listed.
- People find you where they search. Your event appears in our What’s On calendar, on its category page and on the pages for its emirate and month, such as things to do this weekend or business networking events.
- Every listing links to your booking page. We send people straight to your own registration or ticket link, and we never sell tickets ourselves.
- Regular organisers get their own page. Communities and organisers with recurring events get an organiser page that collects all their upcoming dates. See our list of organisers.
Who can submit an event
Event organisers, venues, community groups, clubs, coaches, artists, chambers of commerce and business councils can all submit. The event needs to take place in the UAE, be open to the public or to professionals who can register, and have a confirmed date, time and venue.
What to include for a faster review
- The event name, date, start and end time, and the venue with its area and emirate
- A link to the official ticket or registration page
- The price, or Free if there is no charge
- A clear description: what happens, who it is for and anything people should know, such as age limits or dress code
- A landscape image you have the right to use
What happens after you submit
Our editors check every submission against the official event page before it goes live. We may email you if something is unclear. We write the listing in our own words so it reads well and answers the questions people ask, and we keep your details accurate. If your date or venue changes, simply reply to our email or submit the update and we will change the listing.

Standard listings stay free. If you would like extra visibility, such as a featured spot on the homepage or in our category pages, mention it in your description and we will send you the options.
