Pearl Afternoon Tea brings a classic tiered tea service to Plato’s Lounge at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai, with this run of dates ending on Monday 30 November 2026. Served in the resort’s lobby lounge, it pairs warm scones, finger sandwiches and pastries from Atlantis Executive Pastry Chef Patrice Cabannes with tea or coffee, the resort’s own chocolate and a signature cocktail.
It is a polished, unhurried way to spend part of an afternoon on Palm Jumeirah, whether you are marking a birthday, catching up with a friend or showing visitors a corner of Atlantis without committing to a full day at the resort.
Plato’s Lounge at Atlantis The Palm
Plato’s is the café bar and lounge in the lobby of Atlantis The Palm. Through the day it serves pastries, coffee and afternoon tea, before moving into evening drinks, and it keeps long hours, from morning until midnight. That all-day rhythm suits afternoon tea well: the room is busy enough to feel lively, but the pace is relaxed and nobody is rushing you towards the next sitting.
The listing describes the experience as stylish and elegant, combining a sense of occasion with a comfortable, laid-back feel, and the service is designed to last around an hour and a half.
The Pearl Afternoon Tea Menu in Dubai
Savoury first
Like any traditional afternoon tea, Pearl opens with finger sandwiches, the light savoury course that sets things up before the sweeter tiers arrive.
Warm scones, clotted cream and jam
Scones come to the table warm, with clotted cream and jam. Whether you are a cream-first or jam-first person, this is the course most guests look forward to.
Pastries by Patrice Cabannes
The sweets and savouries are curated by Patrice Cabannes, Executive Pastry Chef at Atlantis The Palm. He joined the resort in 2014 and oversees its bakery and pastry operations, including the house chocolate, so the pastry tier is effectively a showcase of what his team produces across the resort. Pastries are made in-house, and the menu can change at the restaurant’s discretion, so specific items are not guaranteed on the day.
Tea, coffee and Atlantis chocolate
Hot drinks include a selection of teas and coffee, plus the signature Atlantis-branded chocolate, which is worth leaving a little room for after the pastries.
A signature cocktail
The Pearl version of the tea includes a signature cocktail created to sit alongside the afternoon’s flavours. Because of the cocktail, the adult ticket for this package is listed for guests aged 21 and over. Plato’s also runs a separate afternoon tea without the cocktail, with unlimited tea and coffee instead, so check which package you are booking. For groups that include guests under 21, or anyone who would rather skip alcohol, that tea-and-coffee version is the better fit.
Who Pearl Afternoon Tea Suits
This is a natural pick for birthdays, anniversaries, bridal get-togethers and catch-ups with friends or family who enjoy the ritual of a proper afternoon tea. It also suits visitors staying elsewhere in Dubai who want a taste of Atlantis The Palm, its lobby and its pastry kitchen, in a couple of hours rather than a full resort day. Children aged three and under can come along without a ticket of their own.
The dress code is relaxed but tidy: shorts are acceptable, tops should have sleeves and footwear can be closed shoes or sandals. UAE national dress is welcome.
Getting to Atlantis The Palm
Plato’s Lounge is inside Atlantis The Palm on Crescent Road, at the far end of Palm Jumeirah. Valet parking is complimentary while dining at Atlantis, which makes driving the simplest option. By car, follow Sheikh Zayed Road, join Palm Jumeirah Road, drive through the Palm Jumeirah Tunnel and turn right onto Crescent Road. Taxis and ride-hailing apps drop off at the resort entrance.
On public transport, take bus 8 to the Royal Mirage Hotel stop, walk to the Palm Gateway monorail station and ride the monorail to Atlantis Aquaventure, from where the resort is about a five-minute walk. Transport to and from Atlantis is not part of the package.
Booking Notes
Your booking covers what is listed as included on your voucher; anything extra you order is settled directly with the venue. Bookings cannot be changed or refunded once made, so double-check your date, time and party size before you confirm. Pearl Afternoon Tea is sold in rolling runs of dates through the year, so if this window does not suit, later dates are usually released on the booking page. Through 2026 the tea has been offered in windows such as February to April, April to June and June to August, with each run listed separately, so the dates on your voucher are the ones that count.
