The Ultimate BrewDog Experience at BrewDog Bluewaters in Dubai is a two-hour package that bundles a craft beer flight, a two-course meal and a round of games into one booking, at the Scottish brewer’s first bar in the city. It is designed as a ready-made night out on Bluewaters Island, with Ain Dubai right outside and the JBR skyline across the water.

BrewDog opened on Bluewaters in May 2025, taking over the waterfront space once occupied by The London Project. The bar is run in Dubai by Rise Hospitality, the group behind Swingers crazy golf, which explains the strong focus on games alongside the beer. Elsewhere, the brand’s best-known bars include its site at Waterloo in London, and the Dubai bar brings the same mix of beer, food and entertainment to the Gulf.

What the package includes

There are two versions of the experience on the booking page:

• Food, Drinks and Play: one beer flight taster per person, a two-course menu, and either one hour of darts or one game of bowling
• Beer Flight Tasting: the beer flight and the two-course menu, without the games

The listing does not specify which beers go into the flight or which dishes make up the two-course menu. The wider BrewDog Bluewaters menu is built around stacked burgers, loaded fries and wings, with several dishes created only for this location, so expect that style of food rather than fine dining.

Transfers and anything not listed in the inclusions are extra, and the package lasts two hours. Launch coverage put the tap count at 22 and BrewDog’s own page says 20, so the exact line-up of beers on any given night may vary.

The beer and the bar

BrewDog is best known for its craft beers, and the Bluewaters bar has around 20 taps, pouring signature favourites alongside rare and seasonal brews. A tasting flight is the easiest way to work through a few of them without committing to full pints, which makes it a good introduction if you know the brand only from supermarket shelves.

Beer is not the only option. The bar also serves small-batch spirits from BrewDog Distilling Co, cocktails from its Wonderland menu, a curated wine list and non-alcoholic choices for anyone in the group not drinking. Note, though, that this package itself is built around a beer flight.

The games: darts or bowling

The play element is what sets this package apart from a standard dinner booking. You choose between:

• Augmented reality darts: an hour of interactive darts, a digital twist on the pub classic
• Duckpin bowling: a shorter, more casual take on ten-pin, played with smaller balls and pins, which makes it easy for anyone to pick up

Darts suits a group that wants to keep playing through the evening, while a game of bowling works better as a short, competitive interlude between courses.

The setting

The bar is spread over two floors, with terraces looking out towards Ain Dubai and the water. The booking page refers to four terraces, while BrewDog’s own page and the launch coverage describe two, one facing Ain Dubai and one with waterside views. Either way, outdoor seating comes into its own from November onwards, when evenings on Bluewaters are comfortably cool.

Inside, large screens show live sports, and there is live music and weekly entertainment, so the atmosphere is lively rather than hushed. It is a sociable, pub-style venue, more suited to groups of friends and colleagues than to a quiet dinner for two.

Who it suits

The experience is for guests aged 21 and over only. It works well for:

• Groups of friends planning a birthday or a casual night out
• Work teams looking for an easy, pre-planned social
• Craft beer fans who want to try several BrewDog beers in one sitting
• Visitors staying around JBR and Dubai Marina who want something walkable

Bookings are confirmed instantly, and cancellation is allowed up to 96 hours before your experience. One quirk worth knowing: the listing’s opening-hours field shows a morning slot, which does not match the evening-focused description, so confirm your time slot when you book.

Getting to BrewDog Bluewaters

BrewDog is on the Bluewaters Island waterfront, in unit EA001. Driving is straightforward via Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), with parking in the Bluewaters car park; the venue validates parking for up to three hours in the Blue and Purple zones.

Without a car, take a taxi to the drop-off near the Boardwalk, or take the Dubai Tram to the JBR or Marina stop and cross the pedestrian bridge to the island. The Metro Red Line stations at DMCC and Sobha Realty are the nearest, followed by a short taxi ride, and RTA buses stop at JBR and Bluewaters Island.
