Its signature is the “Ring of Fire”, a circle of around 350 floodlights mounted on the roof rather than on masts, which keeps shadows on the field to a minimum. For ILT20 matches, seating is unreserved in every area except the Platinum Enclosure. Each stand has a different view of the pitch and a different amount of shade, and some seats have restricted views, so it pays to choose your spot once you are inside. There is no bag drop or storage on site.

Getting to Dubai Sports City

The ticket listing says parking is available at the stadium. Without a car, take the Metro Red Line to Dubai Internet City station and change to the F34 bus, which runs to Dubai Sports City. Taxis can drop you at the stadium entrance.

Entry rules for families and fans

Children aged five and over need their own ticket. Under-fives can come in free if they sit on an adult’s lap, with one child per adult. Anyone under 15 must stay with an adult throughout, and photo ID may be checked to confirm ages. You can buy up to 10 tickets per match, and they are emailed 48 hours before the game.

Alcohol cannot be brought in, and smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Weapons, fireworks, metal cans, glass bottles and banners with political, religious, offensive or racial messages are banned. Outside food and drink, drones, strollers, umbrellas, camping chairs and oversized bags are restricted and cannot be stored, betting is not allowed, and bags may be searched at the gate.
