About this event

Angham Live 2026 in Abu Dhabi brings the Egyptian singer, billed as The Voice of Egypt, to Space42 Arena at Al Raha Beach on Sunday 29 November for one night only. Gates open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 9pm. The listing describes it as an intimate, emotional live experience where every melody tells a story, and with a venue of around 3,000 capacity, that billing is closer to the truth than it is at most arena shows.

Entry is for guests aged 12 and over.

Who is Angham?

Angham, born Angham Mohamed Ali Suleiman in Alexandria on 19 January 1972, is one of the defining voices of modern Arabic pop. Music runs in the family: her father, Mohamed Ali Suleiman, was a violinist, composer, singer and orchestra chief at the Egyptian opera house, and it was under his guidance that she made her official debut in 1987, still a teenager.

Her early records quickly established her, from Fil Rokn elBaeed elHady in 1987 to the 1992 hit “Ya Tayeb” and Ella Ana in 1993. In 1996 she released Shay Daa, her first album in the Gulf dialect, which became a hit across the Gulf and led to her first concerts in Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE. The 2000s brought her biggest successes: “Sidi Wisalak” was a number-one single in 2001, the same year as “Magabsh Serty” and the album Leih Sebtaha, Omry Maak followed in 2003, and Kolma N’arrab (2007) became her best-selling album, certified platinum. In 2009 she recorded “Mahzouma” with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

Along the way she has collected awards including Best Female Artist in 2000, Egypt’s Number 1 Female Artist in 2001 and the Voice of Love award at the Alexandria National Music Festival in 2006, and she has long been a regular on Gulf stages. Her Gulf connections go back to 1992, when she sang two songs by the Saudi composer Mohammed Al-Senan, and she later performed at Kuwait’s Hala Febrayer concert in 2006 and closed the ninth Doha Music Festival in 2008. She was one of the headliners, with Hussain Al Jassmi, at the very first music concert at Sharjah’s Khorfakkan Amphitheatre on 31 December 2020.

The songs

The listing names seven songs that sum up her career: “Yaretak Fahemni”, “W Nefdal Norkos”, “Sidi Wesalak”, “Asameek Elketeera”, “Mettamena”, “Howa Enta Meen” and “Omry Maak”. A setlist has not been confirmed, but these give a good picture of the range, from the early-2000s hits that made her a household name to later favourites from across her long and varied catalogue. Expect a crowd that sings along to every chorus.

Her performances are known for elegance and warmth rather than spectacle, with the focus on her voice and the emotion of the songs. In a smaller arena, that comes across with more intensity: you are close enough to hear every phrase.
