Kuwaiti Musical Night with Nabil Shuail, Al Dhuwaihi & Ali Abdullah 2026 in Khorfakkan brings three voices of Kuwaiti song to Khorfakkan Amphitheatre on Saturday 12 December. Billed as a Kuwaiti night of music under the Khorfakkan sky, the concert promises timeless hits, heartfelt melodies and authentic Khaleeji style. Doors open at 7:30pm and the music begins at 9pm, so this is a late, unhurried evening on the east coast.
Nabil Shuail, the Gulf Nightingale
Nabil Shuail, also written Nabeel Shuail, is one of the best-loved singers in Kuwait and across the Gulf, often called the “Gulf Nightingale”. He rose to popularity in 1980 with the album Sikat Safar and has since released more than 26 albums, building a style that blends traditional Arabic melody with a lighter, pop-influenced sound.
The ticket page pairs his name with the song “Nadman”, one of the tracks fans will be hoping to hear.
A familiar face in Khorfakkan
Shuail knows this stage well. He shared a night of tarab with Mutref Al Mutref at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre in January 2023, and returned in November 2025 for an evening alongside Aseel Abu Bakr, according to the Sharjah Government Media Bureau. He has also performed at Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah city. This December concert is at least his third headline appearance at the venue.
Abdulaziz Al Duwaihi and Ali Abdullah
Sharing the bill are two more Kuwaiti voices. Abdulaziz Al Duwaihi, written Al Dhuwaihi in the event title, brings his own set of Kuwaiti favourites; the listing highlights his song “La Khat La Hatif”. Ali Abdullah completes the trio, with the listing pointing to his song “Gharat Oyouni”. Together the three make for an evening that moves between classic and contemporary Kuwaiti song, the kind of programme that rewards anyone who knows the words. If you are new to these singers, listening to the three highlighted songs before the night is a quick way to get a feel for each voice, and for why Kuwait has long been one of the great centres of song in the Gulf.
The concert is listed as an Arabic music event, and songs will be performed in Arabic.
The venue: Khorfakkan Amphitheatre
Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is one of the most striking concert venues in the UAE. Opened in December 2020 and inaugurated by the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, it is a Roman-style theatre built on a hillock at the foot of the mountains, facing the town’s beach. Its stone facade has 234 arches and 295 columns, it seats around 3,600 people, and it has a cooling system for warmer evenings. The building is so recognisable that it appears on the UAE’s 10 dirham note. Its first music concert, on New Year’s Eve 2020, starred Hussain Al Jassmi and Angham, and since then it has been a regular stage for leading Arab singers.
Beside the amphitheatre is a man-made waterfall, 45 metres long and 43 metres above sea level, linked to the venue by lifts and a walkway, so it is worth giving yourself time to walk over before the show. The address is Rughaylat Road in Al Mudaifi, next to Al Metalaa Park.

Getting to Khorfakkan
Khorfakkan is on the east coast, part of the emirate of Sharjah, so most visitors from Dubai or Sharjah city will be making a drive through the Hajar Mountains. In Khorfakkan itself, follow Al Corniche Street, take the first exit at the roundabout onto Corniche Street and continue to Rughaylat Road; the venue is next to Al Metalaa Park. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are also suggested. With a 9pm start, it makes sense to plan a dinner on the corniche or an overnight stay on the coast.
Who it suits
This concert is for lovers of Kuwaiti and Khaleeji music, whether you grew up with Nabil Shuail’s albums or discovered his songs more recently. It suits couples, groups of friends and families with older children who enjoy a long evening of live music. For anyone who has not yet seen Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, it is also a fine reason to make the trip.
