The Leading Digital Transformation & AI-Ready Institutions Masterclass in Dubai is a two-day executive programme in Business Bay on 5 and 6 November 2026. It is run by DS Consortium through its DS Knowledge Lab, and it is built for leaders who already accept that AI is a paradigm shift but are stuck on the practical question of where to start. The programme closes with an annual seminar on the AI readiness trends expected in 2027.
The organisers’ central argument is worth knowing before you sign up: AI readiness is not mainly about buying the most powerful GPU. It depends on aligning three things inside an organisation, which they name as Leadership, Data and Trust. The two days are designed around that idea.
What the two days cover
Rather than a run of keynote talks, the days combine expert-led sessions with hands-on capstone work, so time is split between learning a framework and applying it to your own organisation. The Executive Networking Breakfast and Reception add time to compare notes with peers from other institutions who are facing the same questions.
The programme itself is organised around three themes.
Leading Digital Transformation
The first theme deals with strategy and people: how leadership alignment, digital strategy and talent development fit together when an institution is trying to change the way it works. It looks at the strategic, operational and ethical sides of transformation rather than technology alone.
Building AI-Ready Institutions
The second theme moves to foundations: infrastructure development, data readiness, data governance, cybersecurity resilience and responsible AI integration. These are the areas that decide whether an AI initiative scales across an organisation or stalls after a pilot.
The closing seminar on 2027 trends
The programme ends with an annual seminar on the AI readiness trends expected in 2027, led by the DS Knowledge Lab’s experts. Access to this post-masterclass seminar is included with every in-person ticket. The listing does not give a separate date for it.
What you leave with
The core principle is that every participant leaves with something they can use straight away. Through hands-on capstone exercises and expert feedback, you work on a Strategic Implementation blueprint for an AI-ready institution, developed as a Transformation & Security Implementation Plan for your own organisation. The virtual listing describes the same output as a Trusted AI Strategic Implementation Plan.
Because the capstone work is applied to your own institution, it is most useful if you arrive with a real challenge in mind and some context on your current data, infrastructure and governance set-up. The more specific your starting point, the more specific the expert feedback can be.
Every participant, in person or virtual, also receives a certificate and CPD points.
Ticket options
There are several ways to take part, and seat numbers are small:
- Standard: full access to both days, the capstone exercises, guided plan development, expert feedback, the certificate and CPD points, the Executive Networking Breakfast and Reception, and the post-masterclass seminar.
- VIP with coaching: everything in Standard, plus two weeks of post-programme advisory sessions, two hours per week, with a designated facilitator to help you apply your blueprint.
- DS Knowledge Lab 2025 Alumni: reserved for participants of the DS Knowledge 2025 Series and subject to host approval.
- Virtual Access: a limited number of places covering the expert-led sessions, capstone exercises, plan development, expert feedback and certificate, subject to host approval. The networking breakfast and reception are not listed for this option.
When we checked, only a handful of seats remained in each category, so it is worth registering early if you are interested, and allowing time for approval if you are applying for an Alumni or Virtual ticket.
Who it is for
The masterclass is aimed at leaders and institutions preparing for AI transformation: executives responsible for digital change, heads of data, technology and strategy, and government or institutional teams getting ready for AI adoption. If you have been asked to produce an AI plan and are not sure where to begin, or you have pilots running but no clear path to scale them, the format is designed for exactly that situation.
It is less suited to technical specialists looking for hands-on model building or coding. The emphasis is on leadership, governance and implementation planning.
