About this event

The AI in Business workshop in Dubai is a half-day session on the legal, liability and security side of using artificial intelligence at work, held at Dubai Chambers on Thursday 26 November 2026. The morning runs 08:30 to 12:30 and is organised by Dubai Chambers together with the law firm Galadari Advocates and Legal Consultants, under the full title AI in Business: Legal Risks, Corporate Liability and Cybersecurity.

If your company has started using AI tools, or is about to, and nobody is quite sure who carries the risk when something goes wrong, this is a morning built around getting clear answers.

Why an AI in Business Workshop in Dubai Now

AI has moved quickly from experiment to everyday tool in many UAE companies. Chatbots answer customers, models help draft documents, and software makes decisions that used to sit with people. Each of those steps raises questions. Which rules apply? What happens if an AI tool leaks data or gets something badly wrong? Who is liable, and what should contracts with suppliers say?

The session is pitched at UAE businesses that are building AI into their commercial work and want to do it responsibly. Its three themes, legal risk, corporate liability and cybersecurity, are the ones where a company can find itself exposed long before anyone notices a problem.

Dubai Chambers and Galadari: Who Is Behind It

Dubai Chambers is the umbrella for three bodies created in a 2022 restructuring: the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai International Chamber and the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the last of which works with technology companies, startups and investors. Alongside its trade role, it runs a regular programme of legal awareness workshops and webinars for its members, often delivered with UAE law firms. In late 2025, for example, it hosted a webinar titled AI in Business: Legal Risks and Responsible Use, and earlier sessions have covered the practical legal uses of AI.

Galadari Advocates and Legal Consultants is a full-service Emirati law firm that traces its roots to 1983, when Ziad Galadari founded it from a small apartment in Deira. It now has offices in Dubai, the DIFC and Abu Dhabi. The firm has worked with Dubai Chambers on this kind of session before: a 2023 workshop looked at how AI affects individuals’ personal data, and a 2024 session in the chamber’s legal series covered regulatory cybersecurity requirements and the legal consequences of non-compliance, in line with the Dubai Cybersecurity Strategy. This workshop brings those two threads, AI and cybersecurity, together.

Four Objectives for the Morning

The organisers have set out four goals, and they map neatly onto the questions most companies ask when AI arrives in the business.

The UAE rulebook for AI. The session starts with how UAE law and regulation currently treat the adoption of AI, and what that means in practical terms for companies operating here.

Liability, contracts and data. Next comes corporate liability, with discussion of contractual obligations, data protection and governance. These are the areas where AI projects quietly create exposure, from what a vendor contract promises to where customer data ends up.

Security weak spots. The third strand looks at the vulnerabilities AI can introduce, the cybersecurity risks attached to them and how they could disrupt day-to-day operations.

Putting safeguards in place. Finally, the workshop turns to the legal, technical and governance measures a business can take to implement AI safely and securely, so attendees leave with steps they can act on.

Who Should Attend the Legal Risks and Cybersecurity Session

The workshop suits business owners and senior managers who sign off on AI projects, along with in-house legal and compliance teams who need to understand where the risk sits. IT and information security leads will get the most from the cybersecurity strand, and anyone who has become the unofficial owner of an AI rollout in their organisation will find the morning useful.

Because the topics cut across departments, it works well to attend as a small team, with one person from legal, one from IT and one from the business side. Group registrations of three or more are catered for. Registration also differs for Dubai Chambers members and non-members, so keep your membership details to hand when booking. It helps to arrive with a list of the AI tools your company already uses and any contract or data questions you are unsure about, so the discussion can speak to your own situation.

Finding Dubai Chambers in Deira

The workshop takes place on the 13th floor of the Dubai Chambers building on Baniyas Road in Deira. With an 08:30 start, the morning commute into Deira is part of the plan, and the 12:30 finish leaves the afternoon free to get back to the office.

If you are exploring the business side of Dubai that week, the Doers Summit at Dubai Digital Park runs on 25 and 26 November. You can also browse more workshops in the UAE, our business and networking events, the guide to things to do in Dubai and our things to do in November page.

AI is already changing how UAE businesses work, and the legal and security questions are not going away. Register through the Dubai Chambers page to save your seat for the AI in Business workshop on 26 November.
