Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah was the first Marriott Hotels resort to open in the UAE. It has 608 rooms and a 7,000 square metre stretch of beachfront on Palm West Beach, on the western side of the island. For Christmas Day the resort moves its signature celebration into the garden, so the brunch has an open-air, sociable feel rather than the hushed atmosphere of an indoor ballroom.

The four-hour window is one of the longer Christmas Day sittings on the Palm. Many festive brunches in Dubai finish at 4pm, but this one carries on until 5pm, which gives families with young children more breathing room. You can arrive at 1pm, let the children enjoy the activities and Santa’s visit, and still have time to settle back over dessert and a festive cocktail as the afternoon light softens over the garden.

What Is on the Christmas Day Menu

The resort’s holiday page highlights four elements of the spread. Premium roasts take the place of the traditional Christmas lunch centrepiece, fresh seafood brings a lighter option for a warm December afternoon, and live cooking stations mean part of the meal is prepared to order in front of guests. Festive cocktails round out the offer for adults.

The resort has not published a full menu or a list of package tiers for 2026, so it is worth asking the reservations team which drinks options are available and what each one includes. Children’s rates are not listed on the resort’s page either. In the 2025 season the resort offered reduced rates for children in two age bands, but the 2026 structure has not been confirmed, so ask about it when you book. The garden brunch is one of several festive events at Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah this year. On Christmas Eve, Levantera hosts a Christmas dinner, and on Christmas Day itself the resort’s Bal Harbour Beach runs a separate Beach Bum Christmas Brunch for those who would rather spend the afternoon by the sand. The day after, MYAMI hosts the Pawliday Boxing Day Breakfast, where cats and dogs are welcome at the table, so families with a four-legged member can come back with them on 26 December. On 31 December the celebrations close with a New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and an NYE Beach Party at Bal Harbour.

With Santa, photo moments and dedicated activities for children, this brunch is aimed squarely at families. It also suits groups of friends who want an outdoor Christmas lunch with a party feel, thanks to the festive cocktails and garden setting, and anyone who likes to linger over Christmas lunch will appreciate the later 5pm finish. Guests staying at the resort have the easiest day of all, with the beach, the Christmas Day brunch and the Boxing Day breakfast all on site.
