About Amit Tandon at Dubai Comedy Festival 2026 in Dubai
Amit Tandon heads to Dubai for Dubai Comedy Festival with his new show, Aise Kaise, on Sunday, 18 October 2026. The show takes place at Dubai Opera, with a 3pm start, making it a good fit for a weekend afternoon out with friends or family who enjoy Hindi stand-up.
The show is presented by AJ Entertainment and performed in Hindi. In Aise Kaise, Amit shares his experiences and his frustration with changing times and rituals. He questions the logic behind the way people behave, not only his friends and family, but himself too. If you have ever caught yourself wondering why your relatives do things a certain way, and then realised you do exactly the same, this one may feel rather familiar.
What to Expect
This is an afternoon of observational stand-up built around everyday life. The material looks at how habits, traditions and expectations shift over time, and how we all try to keep up with them.
Amit Tandon
Amit Tandon is the sole performer named for this show. His new set turns the spotlight on the small contradictions of modern life, from family rituals to the way people react when things change around them. Crucially, he does not let himself off the hook either, which tends to make this kind of comedy warmer and more relatable.
Aise Kaise
The title roughly asks “how can that be?”, which sums up the spirit of the show. Expect Amit to question habits most of us take for granted and to poke gentle fun at the behaviour of the people closest to him. As the show is in Hindi, it will suit audiences who are comfortable following comedy in the language.
Part of Dubai Comedy Festival
The show is part of Dubai Comedy Festival, so it is worth keeping an eye on the wider programme if you fancy making a weekend of it.

A few house rules are worth knowing. Phones need to be switched off or silenced once the show begins. Outside food and drink are not permitted, and eating or drinking inside the auditorium is prohibited. Smoking and vaping are not allowed, and security searches may be carried out on arrival.
Visitor Tips
Getting There
By Metro, take the Red Line to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station, then walk for around ten minutes or hop in a short taxi. If you are driving, leave Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) at the exit towards Financial Center Road (D71) and follow signs for Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. Continue along Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and Dubai Opera will be on your right. A taxi within Downtown typically takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic, and weekend afternoons can be busy, so give yourself a margin.
Age and Entry Policy
Children under 16 are not permitted in the Main Auditorium. Everyone aged 16 and over needs a valid ticket, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Have your ticket ready to show, either printed or on your phone. Tickets are valid only for the stated date and time and cannot be resold.
Dress Code
Dubai Opera discourages overly casual or provocative clothing, such as shorts or flip-flops, and guests who do not follow the guidance may be refused entry. Smart casual is a safe choice for an afternoon show.
Arrive Early
The venue asks guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before curtain up. Latecomers may only be admitted at a suitable break and could be seated somewhere other than their booked seats. Arriving in good time saves any stress and means you will not miss the opening.
Good to Know
Photos and video taken at the event may be used for promotional purposes, and the venue may remove anyone being disruptive during the performance.
Book Your Tickets
If an afternoon of Hindi stand-up about family, rituals and modern life sounds like your kind of Sunday, book your seats for Amit Tandon’s Aise Kaise at Dubai Opera on 18 October 2026. Check the age policy for your group before you book, plan your route into Downtown, and get ready to see a little of yourself in the jokes.
