Hugging Face Breakfast 2026 in Dubai

If you work anywhere near artificial intelligence in the UAE, this is one of the most useful mornings you could spend during Dubai AI Week. Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s global tech ecosystem, is teaming up with Hugging Face, the open source AI platform used by developers and researchers around the world, to host a curated breakfast in Dubai on Tuesday 27 October 2026. It is free to attend, but places are limited, so we would suggest registering sooner rather than later.

About the Hugging Face Breakfast

The breakfast is designed as a relaxed, high quality gathering for people building and backing AI. According to the organisers, the aim is to bring together founders, technical leaders, investors and strategic partners in the AI space so they can meet, share ideas and find potential collaborators in a smaller, more personal setting than a big conference hall.

The morning opens with a welcome from Hugging Face, followed by breakfast and conversation. There is no heavy agenda of panels and slides here. Instead, the format puts the emphasis on genuine connections over coffee and food, which is often where the most valuable conversations happen during a busy week of tech events.

The venue is 21grams Urban Balkan Bistro on the second floor of Meyan Mall in Umm Suqeim, a bright and comfortable spot that works well for a morning meetup away from the main conference crowds.

What to expect

• A welcome from the Hugging Face team
• Breakfast and informal conversations with other guests
• Time to connect with founders, technical leaders, investors and partners working in AI
• A curated guest list, so the people in the room share a real interest in the field

Please note that Hub71 says photos and videos may be taken during the event and used for promotional purposes.

Who it is for

This breakfast is aimed at people actively involved in AI. When you register, you will be asked which best describes you, with options including corporate, startup, investor, academic, government, media, freelancer and student. That tells us the organisers are welcoming a broad mix of the ecosystem, from early stage founders to people in large organisations and the public sector.

If you are a startup founder looking for partners, a corporate team exploring open source models, an investor tracking the regional AI scene or a student hoping to meet people already working in the industry, you are likely to find the conversation worthwhile.

How to attend

Registration is through the official Luma event page. The Standard ticket is free and registration is open without an approval step at the time of writing. You will need to give your full name and phone number, and answer three short questions about your company, your job title and which category best describes you.

Places are capped, and only a small number of spots were left when we checked, so if you would like to go, we recommend registering as soon as possible.

Good to know

• Timing: the event runs from 10:30am to 1:30pm Dubai time. One line in the organiser’s description mentions 10:30PM, which looks like a typo, as the official event times are in the morning. If in doubt, check the Luma page before you set off.
• Location: 21grams is on Floor 2 of Meyan Mall, on Al Thanyah Street in Umm Suqeim 2.
• Tip: as with most networking breakfasts, it helps to bring business cards or have your LinkedIn QR code ready, and to arrive on time so you catch the welcome.
• Tip: Dubai AI Week is a busy time on the roads, so allow a little extra travel time in the morning.
