Anuv Jain Live in Dubai brings the Indian singer-songwriter to Jubilee Park at Expo City Dubai on Friday 20 November 2026, as part of Dastakhat, the first world tour of his career. It is his third performance in the region, and the organisers describe this Dubai date as an intimate, close-up evening built around the gentle, personal songs that have made him one of the best-loved voices in Indian independent music.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the music is due to start at 8pm. Entry is for guests aged 14 and over. The show is produced and promoted by Team Innovation and Live Nation.
Who is Anuv Jain?
Anuv Jain is a 30 year old singer-songwriter from Ludhiana in Punjab who started out as a bedroom musician, writing and recording simple, acoustic songs at home. Those songs found an audience online and kept growing, and his catalogue has now passed 800 million streams across platforms. He writes mostly in Hindi, with a soft delivery and lyrics that read like a letter to someone you miss.
His best-known songs include Baarishein, Alag Aasmaan, Husn and Jo Tum Mere Ho. Husn climbed to number two worldwide on the Spotify Viral Charts, a rare feat for a quiet Hindi ballad. In 2025 he widened his sound with two collaborations: Afsos, a Punjabi track with AP Dhillon, and Arz Kiya Hai with Lost Stories for Coke Studio Bharat.
Along the way he has been named in Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 and in GQ India’s list of the 35 Most Influential Young Indians, and he has shared a stage with Post Malone. In 2024 he joined UN LIVE’s Sounds Right campaign, which supports environmental conservation through music.
The Dastakhat world tour
Dastakhat, which means “signature” in Hindi and Urdu, is a milestone for an artist who until recently played mostly in India. The tour opened with ten Indian cities in January and February 2026: New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Indore, Mumbai, Jaipur and Bengaluru. It then moves on to 23 cities worldwide across 2026 and 2027, with dates in Australia, North America, the UK and Europe.
The scale has grown fast. His previous run, Guldasta in 2023, included a sold-out show at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai for more than 8,000 fans. At the Kolkata stop of Dastakhat, he estimated the crowd at around 5,000.
What to expect from the show
Reports from the India leg give a good idea of how a Dastakhat night runs. In Kolkata the set covered the songs fans come for, Baarishein, Alag Aasmaan, Husn, Jo Tum Mere Ho, Afsos and Arz Kiya Hai, and he closed with Baarishein, then played it a second time because the audience asked for it.
This tour is also the first time he has performed properly with a full band, so songs that started life as one voice and a guitar now come with a fuller arrangement. Between songs he talks openly about the difficult years before his music took off, which gives the evening the feel of a conversation as much as a concert. He invited the crowd to sing along to Afsos, read out messages from fans and, at one point, walked to the sound desk at the back so the people furthest from the stage got a song up close.
The Dubai organisers are pairing that personal style with what they describe as immersive production, so expect lighting and staging that set a mood rather than compete with the songs. Set lists can change from city to city, but the hits above are the backbone of the tour.
The venue: Jubilee Park at Expo City Dubai
Jubilee Park is an open-air space within Expo City Dubai, the district that hosted Expo 2020 and now runs as a year-round neighbourhood of parks, pavilions and event venues. In late November the evenings are mild, which makes it a comfortable season for an outdoor concert.
If you are driving, the ticket page gives these directions: head south on Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), take Exit 20 for Expo Road (E77), continue along Boulevard 2020 and turn onto Street 8, where the venue is on your right. GPS helps for the final stretch inside the Expo City site. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are an easy alternative.
Who it suits
This is a night for anyone who has had Baarishein or Husn on repeat, from fans who found him on YouTube years ago to newer listeners who came in through Afsos. The quiet, lyric-led style suits couples and groups of friends, and the 14+ age rule means older teenagers can come along with their families. If you prefer singer-songwriters to big dance productions, this is one of the more personal shows on the Dubai calendar this season.
Fans of Indian independent music will also find it a rare chance to see a homegrown artist on his first international headline tour, while the songs are still fresh and the rooms still feel close.
Plan your night
With doors at 6:30pm and a scheduled start of 8pm, there is time to explore Expo City before the show. If you cannot attend after booking, the ticket page notes that you can pass your ticket on to another fan through the platform. One small point: a line in the ticket page metadata has shown a different date, so check that your booking confirmation says 20 November 2026.
