Reef & Beef Business Lunch in Dubai

The Business Lunch at Reef & Beef Steakhouse & Seafood is a three-course set lunch in Downtown Dubai, served every day from 1pm to 6pm in a dining room that looks towards Burj Khalifa. It is built for the working week, with signature starters, premium mains and desserts from a steakhouse that specialises in exactly what its name suggests: the reef and the beef, fresh seafood and steak.

The long serving window is the practical draw. A five-hour lunch service runs well into the afternoon, which helps when a meeting overruns, when a client lands on a midday flight, or when you simply want a late lunch on a quieter day.

The three courses

The lunch follows a classic structure:

• Starter: chosen from the restaurant’s signature starters
• Main: a premium main course, drawing on the steak and seafood that define the kitchen
• Dessert: to finish, before the coffee or the next meeting

Reef & Beef does not publish a dish-by-dish list for the business lunch, so the exact options can change. If you are hosting and need to plan around dietary requirements, raise them when you reserve.

Why steak and seafood?

The pairing behind the name is the one many people know as surf and turf: a cut of beef served with, or alongside, seafood such as prawns or lobster. It became a steakhouse classic because it lets a table have the best of both, and Reef & Beef has built its whole menu around that idea, with signature steaks on one side and fresh seafood on the other. At lunch, that means the premium main course is where the kitchen’s strengths show most clearly, so it is worth asking the team what is on that day.

Drinks

The listing does not include drinks with the set menu, and additional beverages are excluded, so plan on ordering them separately at the table.

About Reef & Beef

Reef & Beef presents itself as one of Dubai’s premier steakhouse and fine dining addresses, with an elegant but relaxed atmosphere. The concept was created by restaurateur Mansour Bassam, who also runs Reef & Beef restaurants in Düsseldorf and Cologne, and the Dubai branch was designed by the studio Design By Mahsa (DBM).

The interior is a big part of the experience. The design mixes 1920s New York glamour with Middle Eastern and Persian touches across roughly 1,166 square metres, split into three zones:

• The Grand Dining Gallery, with ceilings up to seven metres high, quarter-booth seating, white tablecloths, a chandelier array and a seven-metre wine wall holding over 900 bottles
• The Night Lounge, in deep red tones with vertical glass pipes and more than 20 convex mirrors
• An outdoor area for when the weather is kind

For a business lunch, the booth seating in the main gallery is the useful detail: it gives a table some privacy for a conversation that needs it, without the formality of a private room.

Client lunches and team meetings

A fixed three-course menu keeps ordering quick, so the focus stays on the conversation. The setting, with its wine wall and Burj Khalifa view, makes an impression on visiting clients without feeling stuffy, and its Downtown location keeps it within easy reach of offices along Sheikh Zayed Road, DIFC and Business Bay.

Long weekday lunches with friends or family

The lunch is not only for work. The ticket category is for adults aged 21 and over, but children are welcome to order from the à la carte kids’ menu, which is charged separately at the venue. That makes it workable for a family lunch out, as long as the adults take the set menu.

Visitors on a Downtown day out

Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall are minutes away, so the lunch fits neatly between a morning at the mall and an afternoon at the observation decks or by the Dubai Fountain.

Practical details

• Serving hours: daily, 1pm to 6pm. The restaurant asks guests to arrive within business lunch hours to enjoy the full experience.
• Dress code: smart casual, in line with the white-tablecloth setting.
• Parking: complimentary valet parking is included.
• Getting there: the booking lists the address as Boulevard Point, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Downtown Dubai. GPS is recommended, and taxis and ride-hailing apps can drop you at the door.
• Not included: extra drinks, items from the kids’ menu, personal expenses and transport to and from the restaurant.
• Changes: cancellation or rescheduling is allowed up to four days before your booking, and advance reservations are recommended.

The same restaurant also runs a daily international breakfast buffet from 7am to 11am, if you would rather hold the meeting over coffee and eggs.
