Carnival Day Brunch, Splash and Party in Dubai turns Saturday into a full day out at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort in JBR: a three-hour international buffet with live carnival entertainment, day access to the resort’s pool and private beach, activities for children and, for those who want to keep going, an optional after-party at Bliss Lounge with a live DJ. It runs every Saturday from the end of October to late December 2026.

It is pitched at families and groups of friends alike, with a dedicated kids package on one side and a DJ after-party on the other, so mixed groups can each choose the part of the day that suits them.

The setting: Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort

The Sheraton is a five-star beachfront resort on Al Mamsha Street in JBR, set in landscaped gardens shaded by palm trees. Its beach looks out towards Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai, and the resort has a large main pool with a swim-up bar alongside a shaded, shallow pool for children.

That is what makes the “splash” part of the name work. Rather than leaving the table and heading home, you can move straight from brunch to a sunbed, a swim or a walk along the sand, all within the same resort.

How the day runs

Brunch, 1pm to 4pm

The buffet is international, with dishes from a range of cuisines, and runs for three hours. While you eat, live carnival entertainment fills the space with interactive performances and music. No headline act is named, so expect colour and atmosphere around the buffet rather than a stage show.

Pool and beach

Every brunch ticket includes day access to the swimming pool and private beach. Towels and sunbeds are not included unless the venue provides them on arrival, so pack your own towel to be safe.

The Bliss Lounge after-party

When brunch winds down, the party moves to Bliss Lounge, the resort’s laid-back outdoor lounge on the edge of the hotel, overlooking JBR beach. The after-party is an optional add-on, bought separately, and gives two hours of unlimited house drinks set to live DJ beats. Bliss Lounge is known for its sunset views towards Ain Dubai and Bluewaters, which makes the timing work nicely after a 4pm brunch finish.

Choosing a package

There are three brunch packages, built around what you drink:

• Soft Beverage Package: the brunch buffet with unlimited soft drinks
• House Beverage Package: the brunch buffet with unlimited house drinks
• Kids Package: for ages five to fifteen, with the buffet, soft drinks and the kids’ activities

Premium spirits, champagne and off-menu orders are not included, and neither are drinks or meals outside the 1pm to 4pm brunch window unless you have added the after-party.

A note on tickets: the listing’s ticket categories and package descriptions do not line up perfectly, with an adult 21-and-over category that appears to match the after-party add-on and a separate category for ages 16 to 20. Check exactly what you are buying at checkout.

Families and age rules

Children aged five to fifteen have their own package and activities, and the live carnival entertainment is designed with them in mind. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, particularly around the pool and beach. The resort itself also has a shaded play area with swings and slides, and runs a Pirates Kids’ Club for ages four to twelve, although the listing does not say whether the club is part of the brunch day.

Guests aged 16 to 20 have their own adult category, and proof of age with valid ID may be requested for the house beverage package and for entry to the after-party.

What to wear

Getting there

By car or taxi, head for the resort entrance in JBR and Dubai Marina; there is valet parking and self-parking on site, and taxis or ride-hailing apps can drop you at the main entrance. By public transport, take the Metro Red Line to Sobha Realty or DMCC station, then the Dubai Tram towards the JBR 1 or JBR 2 stop, a short walk from the resort. Transport is not included.
