Dubai International Boat Show 2026 brings its 32nd edition to Dubai Harbour from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 November, five afternoons and evenings of superyachts, performance boats, marine technology and watersports demonstrations on the water. Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre, it is the region’s best-known boat show, and this year it sits in an unusual slot on the calendar.
Why the show is in November this year
The boat show normally runs in spring, and the 2026 edition was first set to open on 8 April. Dubai World Trade Centre moved it to 25–29 November after reviewing international travel and market conditions across the region, in consultation with industry partners and the authorities. The new dates create a busy month for boating in the UAE: the Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show runs at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club Marina from 12 to 15 November, and the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show takes place from 19 to 22 November, the week before.
How big the show is
The last edition, in 2025, drew more than 30,000 visitors and over 1,000 brands, with around 200 yachts on display across the harbour. It also introduced a dedicated brokerage area, and sustainability was one of its main themes.
For 2026, the organisers announced plans that build on that: more than 60 per cent of exhibitors coming from overseas, a wider range of yacht launches, a larger brokerage space for the leading brokerage houses and a tender service linking the brokerage pontoons with the main marina display. An Innovation Zone for start-ups and new technology is set to return at a larger scale, joined by a new Sustainability Hub looking at fuel-efficient propulsion and recycled refit materials.
What to see on the pontoons
Superyachts and performance boats
The headline draw is the line of superyachts moored in the harbour, several of which visitors can board, alongside sleek performance boats and smaller leisure craft. Walking the berths gives you a sense of scale that photos never quite manage.
Marine technology
Beyond the boats, the exhibition covers the technology that goes into them, from engines and onboard systems to the newer ideas showcased in the Innovation Zone. The show’s trade side also includes the Annual Leisure Yachting Conference, which has covered themes such as sustainability, experiential ownership, AI and autonomous cruising.
Watersports and life by the sea
Live watersports demonstrations take place on the water, and there is live entertainment, food and family activities on land, which is why the organisers describe it as a day out by the sea rather than simply an exhibition. New lounges planned for 2026 include a Cigar Lounge and a Captain and Crew Lounge with wellbeing and career workshops, and the Flybridge food and drink space overlooking the harbour is being expanded.
Opening hours
The ticket page lists afternoon and evening sessions only, which means you catch the harbour at sunset:
- Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November: 3pm to 8pm.
- Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November: 3pm to 9pm.
- Sunday 29 November: 3pm to 8pm.
The two weekend days run an hour later, which suits anyone who wants to stay for dinner on the Flybridge or watch the lights come on across the marina.
The venue: Dubai Harbour
Dubai Harbour sits on the coast between Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina, close to Bluewaters Island, and its marina is one of the largest in the region, which is why it can hold a superyacht line-up of this size. Infrastructure work expected to be finished before the show includes a new bridge linking Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour and a multi-storey car park.
Even so, the ticket page is firm that there is strictly no visitor parking at Dubai Harbour during the show. Instead, use one of these routes:
- Park and ride: park at Nakheel Mall Monorail Station on Palm Jumeirah (paid parking) and take the complimentary shuttle bus.
- Metro: ride the Red Line to Al Khail station, cross the metro bridge and board the complimentary shuttle from the American University bus stop. There is limited paid RTA parking nearby.
- Tram: get off at Mina Seyahi station and take the complimentary shuttle.
- Taxi and ride-hailing: RTA taxis, Careem, Uber and Bolt all serve the venue.
Who it suits
Yacht owners, buyers and marine professionals will get the most from the brokerage pontoons and conference, but the show works for a much wider crowd. Families come for the watersports and activities, couples and friends make an evening of it by the water, and anyone new to Dubai gets a look at one of the city’s longest-running annual events. Comfortable shoes are worth it: the pontoons cover a lot of ground.
