About Gipsy Kings by André Reyes 2026 in Dubai
Gipsy Kings by André Reyes comes to Dubai on Thursday 22 October 2026 for a symphonic evening at Dubai Opera. The show is led by André Reyes, a founding member of the group that introduced rumba flamenca to audiences around the world.
This one is a little different from their previous visits. It marks the group’s first symphonic production on a theatre stage, following a run of sold-out shows in Dubai. Their best-loved songs will be performed with full orchestral arrangements, while keeping the guitars, harmonies and rhythm that fans know so well.
The band’s story speaks for itself. Gipsy Kings by André Reyes have sold more than 60 million albums and picked up honours including Grammy and World Music Awards recognition. If you grew up with these songs playing at family parties, hearing them with an orchestra behind them should be quite a treat.
What to Expect
The concert starts at 20:00 and runs for around an hour and a half, with no interval. That means one continuous set, so settle in and enjoy the music from start to finish.
André Reyes
André Reyes leads the performance. As a founding member of the original group, he has been part of bringing rumba flamenca to stages across the globe, and he brings that history with him to Dubai.
The Songs
Expect favourites including Bamboleo, Djobi Djoba, Volare and Un Amor, reimagined on a symphonic scale. These are songs that get people singing along, and the orchestral arrangements add new richness without losing the passion of the originals.
A Symphonic Production
The whole show has been arranged for full orchestra, pairing flamenco guitars with sweeping strings and fuller sound. It has been tailored for the Dubai audience and is produced by TOTALÍSIMO Entertainment.
Key Highlights
- André Reyes, a founding member of the group, leads the show
- The group’s first symphonic production on a theatre stage
- Hits including Bamboleo, Djobi Djoba, Volare and Un Amor
- Full orchestral arrangements of their best-known songs
- Around 90 minutes of music with no interval
- Presented by TOTALÍSIMO Entertainment
The Venue: Dubai Opera
The concert takes place at Dubai Opera in Downtown Dubai. Please note that this is a venue hire: the show is presented by a third-party promoter, TOTALÍSIMO, and is not produced or presented by Dubai Opera itself.
The building opens two hours before the show, and the auditorium doors open 30 minutes before the start. That gives you plenty of time to arrive, find your bearings and take your seat without a rush.
Visitor Tips
Getting There
By car, leave Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) at the exit towards Financial Center Road (D71) and follow the signs for Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. Keep right, merge onto Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, and continue until you see Dubai Opera on your right.
By metro, take the Red Line to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station. From there it is about a ten-minute walk or a short taxi ride. A taxi from elsewhere in Downtown usually takes 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
Arrive Early
This is the big one. Latecomers will not be admitted once the performance has started, and because there is no interval there is no later chance to get in. Late arrival does not qualify for a refund either, so aim to be there well before 20:00.
Age and Entry Policy
Children under 6 are not permitted in the main auditorium. Children aged 6 and above need a valid ticket, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Have your ticket ready on your phone or printed, and expect a security search on the way in.
Dress Code
Overly casual or provocative clothing, such as shorts or flip flops, is discouraged, and guests who do not follow this may be refused entry. Smart, comfortable clothes are a safe choice.
Good to Know
- Phones should be switched off or silenced once the show begins
- Photography, video and audio recording are not allowed in the auditorium unless authorised
- Outside food and drink are not allowed, and eating or drinking inside the auditorium is not permitted
Book Your Tickets
For one night only, Gipsy Kings by André Reyes bring their songs to Dubai Opera with a full orchestra behind them. Previous Dubai shows have sold out, so if you want to hear Bamboleo and Volare in this setting, book your seats on Platinumlist and plan to arrive in good time.
