Mo Amer Live 2026 in Abu Dhabi brings the comedian, writer and actor behind the Netflix series Mo to Etihad Arena on Yas Island for one Friday night in November. Presented by Live Nation Middle East, it is a full arena stand-up show built on the thing Mo Amer does best: taking stories about family, culture, identity and everyday life and turning them into sharp, deeply personal comedy.

Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 8pm, which leaves a comfortable two hours for security, phone pouching and finding your seat.

At security check-in, devices are sealed in JAYB pouches that you keep with you, and they can be unlocked only in the designated JAYB Phone Use Areas. Anyone seen using a device during the show will be escorted out of the venue.

Photography and filming are not permitted at any time, by phone or otherwise, so the night is one to watch rather than record.

Etihad Arena on Yas Island

Etihad Arena sits on Yas Drive on Yas Island, and for this show it is set up for stand-up rather than a concert. A few practical points from the listing are worth knowing:

• Payments are contactless only throughout the venue, so leave the cash at home and bring a card or phone wallet for use before your phone is pouched.
• Bags larger than 30 x 30 x 15cm are not allowed, and there is no cloakroom or storage.
• Flags of any kind, including national flags, are prohibited.
• Strollers cannot go into the arena, though stroller parks are available.
• Accessible seating is available and must be bought as a specific ticket.

Getting there, the listing’s directions are to take Sheikh Zayed Road from downtown Abu Dhabi and follow the signs to the arena. The nearest bus stop is Al Matar Al Qadeem, about 800 metres away, and most taxi drivers know the venue. Parking is not covered on the event page.

The show is strictly for guests aged 16 and over, and every guest needs a valid ticket. It suits fans of the Netflix series, anyone who prefers story-led stand-up to quick-fire gags, and groups of friends looking for a big comedy night on Yas Island.

Entry is tightly managed. Staff may ask to validate the ticket holder’s identity at the gate, which can mean showing photo ID and the credit card used to buy the tickets, so make sure the person who booked is either with the group or has arranged things in advance. Tickets are scanned at the turnstile, so download them to your phone before you arrive. Each ticket allows one entry, and there is strictly no readmission once you leave.

All ticket sales are final: tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. If the show is cancelled or postponed, any refund follows the organiser’s terms and conditions.
