WETEX 2026 in Dubai returns to Dubai World Trade Centre on 20–22 October 2026 for its 28th edition. The Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition is organised by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and is one of the region’s biggest meeting points for anyone working in sustainability.
About WETEX in Dubai
WETEX has spent 28 years at the forefront of sustainability in the region. It is held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The founder and chairman is H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA.
The exhibition is built on four pillars: water, energy, technology and environment. Around them sit topics such as renewable energy, electric vehicles, AI, smart and sustainable cities, and health and safety.
The numbers give a sense of the scale. Organisers list more than 50,000 visitors, 65 participating countries, over 3,100 exhibiting brands, 68 sponsors, 114 specialised sessions and 18 country pavilions.
WETEX is a trade exhibition for professionals, and visitors register through the official website before attending.
What to Expect
WETEX spreads across several halls at Dubai World Trade Centre, so it helps to know what sits where before you set off.
The Exhibition Halls
Exhibitors fill halls across the venue, including Hall 1, Hall 4, Hall 8, Sheikh Saeed Hall 3, Sheikh Maktoum Hall and Sheikh Rashid Hall. Expect product launches, country pavilions and companies showing their latest work in water, power and clean technology.
Green Mobility
Green Mobility runs in Hall 4. It is the place to look at electric vehicles and cleaner ways of getting around.
Health and Safety Hub
The Health and Safety Hub takes over Sheikh Maktoum Hall, with a focus on safer workplaces and operations.
Seminars and Speakers
The seminar programme runs across all three days. Speakers named for the final day include Suvendra Kumar Senapati, Igor Palamarchuk, Renato Volpe, Dr. Antonio Feraco, Eng. Inas Al Khatib and Bassam El Koussa. Earlier days featured names such as Basil Almabrok of alfanar and Omar Mohammed Al Ameri of EWEC.
World Green Economy Summit
The World Green Economy Summit runs alongside WETEX on 21 and 22 October in Sheikh Rashid Hall, so you can easily combine the two.

The Venue: Dubai World Trade Centre
Dubai World Trade Centre is the city’s main exhibition venue, just off Sheikh Zayed Road. Its many halls make it a natural home for a show of this size, and the layout lets you move between zones on foot.
The venue sits close to the business districts of central Dubai, so it is easy to drop in between meetings.
Visitor Tips
Register First
Register as a visitor on the official website before you go. The WETEX app is also available on the App Store, Google Play and App Gallery, which helps with finding halls and sessions.
Getting There and Parking
The Dubai Metro Red Line has a World Trade Centre station next to the venue, which is often the least stressful option during a big show. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are easy too. If you drive, leave extra time for parking.
What to Bring
Bring business cards, a charged phone and comfortable shoes. The halls are large and you will walk a lot.
Dress Code
No dress code is listed. Business or smart casual clothing suits a trade exhibition like this.
Check Session Times
Some session times on the official site look inconsistent, so double-check the seminar you want in the app or at the venue before planning around it.
