Bohemia Presents MK in Dubai brings the Detroit house producer and DJ to Bohemia Beach Club at FIVE Palm Jumeirah on Saturday 21 November 2026. MK, real name Marc Kinchen, plays from 7pm on the beachfront, with the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai Marina skyline as the backdrop, for an evening the venue describes as global house anthems, high-energy beats and beach atmosphere.

He is the headliner and only name on the bill, so the night is built around his set.

Who is MK?

Marc Kinchen was born in Detroit in 1972 and has been making house music for more than three decades. His first hits arrived quickly in the early 1990s: Always and Love Changes, both sung by Alana Simon, each reached number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1993 and 1994, while Burning became an underground house classic.

His reputation as a remixer was built in the same era. His rework of Céline Dion’s Misled gave her a first Dance/Club Play number one, and his remix of the Nightcrawlers’ Push the Feeling On reached number three in the UK and became one of the most enduring club records of the decade. In the 2000s he stepped away from the dancefloor for a spell, working as an in-house producer for Will Smith from 2002 and co-producing Pitbull’s Back in Time, the theme for Men in Black 3.

The comeback and the hits

MK’s second wave began in November 2013, when his remix of Storm Queen’s Look Right Through went to number one on the UK Singles Chart. Storm Queen is the project of New York producer Morgan Geist with vocalist Damon C. Scott, and the original had been a cult club record; MK’s version turned it into a pop hit. It opened the door to a new generation of fans and a run of tracks and remixes that have since passed more than a billion streams worldwide.

The biggest of his own records is 17, released in 2017. It reached number seven on the UK Singles Chart, topped the UK Dance chart and has been certified triple platinum in the UK, and it remains the track most crowds wait for. He also runs his own label, AREA10.

Fans in Dubai will also know Back & Forth, Asking and Rhyme Dust, his collaboration with Australian producer Dom Dolla that won Best Dance/Electronic Release at Australia’s ARIA Awards in 2023. In 2021 he also landed his first number one on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart as the featured artist on Anabel Englund’s Underwater. His career has taken him to Coachella, Glastonbury and Ibiza, and his sets mix those vocal-led anthems with deeper, rolling house grooves.

What to expect at Bohemia

This is an early-evening beach party rather than a late club session. MK plays from 7pm, the venue’s calendar listing runs to around 1am, and the setting does a lot of the work: you are dancing on the sand as the Marina skyline lights up across the water. The venue sums up the night as come for the music, stay for the moment.

Expect the big, singalong house records his name is attached to, alongside the kind of chunky grooves he has been playing since the 1990s. If you have heard Look Right Through or 17 on a dancefloor, this is a chance to hear them from the man who made them, outdoors by the sea.

The venue: Bohemia at FIVE Palm Jumeirah

Bohemia Beach Club is the beach venue at FIVE Palm Jumeirah, on the trunk of the Palm facing west towards Dubai Marina. The hotel is one of the city’s best-known party addresses, also home to the rooftop club The Penthouse, and Bohemia regularly hosts international house and techno names on its beachfront.

By car, take King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, then Palm Jumeirah Road to the hotel. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are an easy option, especially if you are staying late. The ticket page does not give parking details.

There are separate ticket types for ladies and gents. The listing does not state a dress code or an age policy, so carry valid photo ID and dress smartly for a beach club evening. Check your booking for any entry conditions before you go.
