About this event

Charlotte de Witte at HIVE 2026 in Dubai brings the Belgian techno DJ and KNTXT label founder to HIVE, the techno room at Soho Garden Meydan, on Friday 4 December. The listing sums the night up in three short lines, “one night, one room, total immersion”, and describes her as one of techno’s defining names. Doors open at 10pm, the night is strictly 21+, and support acts are still to be announced.

Who is Charlotte de Witte?

Charlotte de Witte was born in Ghent in 1992 and started DJing in 2010, at first playing mostly electro. A win in a Studio Brussel DJ contest in 2011 led to a slot at Tomorrowland, and for her first years she performed under the name Raving George, chosen to sidestep the preconceptions female DJs faced at the time. In 2015 she dropped the alias and began playing under her own name, the same year her collaboration with Oscar and the Wolf, You’re Mine, became a hit in Belgium.

From there she moved firmly into techno. Early EPs came out on Bad Life, Crux Records and Turbo Recordings, and in 2019 she launched her own label, KNTXT, which has become a home for the fast, hard-edged sound she is known for. In 2024 she added Époque, a label for remixes of classic Belgian tracks. Her rework of The Age of Love topped Beatport’s techno chart for 2021 and went gold the following year.

The recognition followed. She won Best Techno Artist at the DJ Awards in 2019 and 2020, entered the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2019 and reached number nine in the 2025 poll, her first top-ten finish. Clubbers often call her the “techno queen”, and she has played landmark rooms and festivals from Printworks and Junction 2 to Boiler Room. In February 2025 she played a homecoming set at the Stadshal in Ghent for around 12,500 fans, a sign of how far her following now reaches beyond the club circuit.

What to expect at HIVE

HIVE is Soho Garden Meydan’s dedicated techno space, and it has become a regular Dubai stop for the genre’s touring names, with nights from artists such as Klangkuenstler and Nico Moreno. Charlotte de Witte is no stranger to it: she headlined HIVE in February 2025, so this December date is a return to a room she knows.

The listing describes her sound as uncompromising, with a signature energy that commands the room, and her sets are pitched at people who come to dance. The single-room format matters here: there is no second arena to wander off to, so the night is focused entirely on the booth. It suits people who want to commit to a full set rather than dip in and out.

Line-up and timings

Charlotte de Witte headlines, with support listed as TBA for now. Doors are at 10pm. The ticket page gives no official set times or closing time, and its calendar links disagree, so treat any end time you see as approximate until the organisers confirm the running order.

A note on the listing

The Platinumlist page shows Friday 4 December in its date line and calendar links, but some of its page descriptions and image files still refer to an earlier 11 April 2026 date. The 4 December date is the one currently on sale, but it is worth checking your confirmation when you book.
