The Venue: Dubai Opera

Dubai Opera in Downtown Dubai is the city’s flagship performing arts venue, shaped like a traditional dhow and set beside Burj Khalifa. Its main auditorium offers excellent sightlines and acoustics for a solo performer.

The building opens two hours before the show, so you can enjoy the Downtown views before heading in.

The restaurants of the surrounding Opera District make it easy to plan a pre-show dinner near the Burj Khalifa, turning John Achkar Feena Nehke into a full night out in Downtown Dubai.

Getting There & Parking

By car, take Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), exit toward Financial Center Road (D71) and follow signs for Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai, then join Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard. By metro, take the Red Line to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station and walk about 10 minutes. A taxi from elsewhere in Downtown usually takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.

What to Bring

Bring your physical or digital ticket. Phones must be switched off or silenced, and photography and recording are prohibited. Outside food and drink are not allowed.

Age & Entry Policy

Children under 13 are not permitted in the main auditorium. Guests aged 13 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and security searches may take place.

Dress Code

Overly casual or provocative clothing, such as shorts or flip flops, is discouraged, and guests may be refused entry if they don’t comply.

Arrive Early

Auditorium doors open 30 minutes before the show. Latecomers are admitted only at a suitable break, so leave plenty of time for Downtown traffic.
