ANOTR Live at Pacha ICONS brings the Amsterdam house duo to the open-air dancefloor at Playa Pacha, FIVE LUXE JBR, in Dubai on Friday 13 November 2026. The listing promises feel-good house, non-stop groove and hands-in-the-air moments from start to finish, with doors at 7pm and the night running until 3am.

ANOTR are the only act named on the bill, so this is their night: a long live set on the beach at JBR, facing the sea and Ain Dubai.

Who are ANOTR?

ANOTR are Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney, a Dutch duo working out of a studio in Amsterdam. The name itself is a blend of the two: the AN comes from Oguzhan and the OTR from Jesse’s middle name, Piotr. They first teamed up around 2012 and in 2017 founded their own label, No Art, to release music on their own schedule. It has since grown into a home for a close circle of artists, and its Amsterdam parties have been held in places as unusual as a church, with a choir taking over mid-set.

Their sound starts from house and tech house but draws heavily on disco, funk, soul and jazz, with a bass-driven, groove-first approach. In an interview with Xceed, Oguzhan explained that many of their tracks begin with a drum groove built on a Korg drum machine, which explains the bounce that runs through their records.

The tracks to know

The song that turned ANOTR from club favourites into a much bigger name is Relax My Eyes, their collaboration with Dutch singer Abel Balder. Alongside it, Vertigo, How You Feel, Your Mind, 3AM and Hey Pablo are among the tracks fans ask for most. Their debut album, The Reset, came out in 2022. Before the wider breakthrough, they had already released on labels such as Solid Grooves, Hottrax, Moan, Origins Rcrds and Inermu, and played clubs including fabric and Printworks in London, Ushuaïa and Privilege in Ibiza, and Lost Beach Club in Ecuador.

Pacha ICONS at Playa Pacha

Pacha ICONS is the headline series at Playa Pacha, the beach club at FIVE LUXE JBR on The Walk. It brings big names in house and techno to what the venue bills as Dubai’s number one open-air dancefloor. Recent seasons have featured headliners such as Carl Cox, Peggy Gou, Marco Carola, PAWSA, BLOND:ISH and WhoMadeWho, so ANOTR join a strong list.

The setting is a big part of the appeal. Playa Pacha is an open-air beachfront venue with pools, sweeping sea views and one of the largest LED screens in the region, according to coverage of the series. The venue carries the name of Pacha, the Ibiza club brand founded in 1973 and known around the world for its twin cherries logo.

Getting there

By car, take Sheikh Zayed Road, continue onto Al Naseem Street and King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, then follow Al Mamsha Street to The Walk, taking the second exit at the roundabout. By public transport, take the Metro Red Line to Sobha Realty, then the tram from Dubai Marina 2 to Jumeirah Beach Residence 1 and walk a short distance. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are easiest for a 3am finish.
