Our guide to a night at Dubai Opera
What is on this season
The 2026 to 2027 season mixes classical, popular and family shows. Highlights listed by the venue include Romantic Masters on 25 October, Titizé, A Venetian Dream from 29 to 31 October, Queen of the Night on 6 November, Ministry of Sound Classical on 7 November, The Tsar’s Bride on 2 December, a Symphonic Orchestra Concert on 3 December, Guy Manoukian on 11 December and Swan Lake on Ice from 14 to 17 January 2027. You will find these and more in the events list on this page.
Getting tickets
Book online through Dubai Opera’s website or visit the box office in Opera Plaza, open daily from 11am to 8pm. Mobile and print-at-home tickets both work at the door. For big names and short runs, booking early gives you the best choice of seats.
Planning your evening
Dubai Opera sits in the heart of Downtown Dubai, a short walk from The Dubai Mall and the Dubai Fountain, so it is easy to make an evening of it with dinner beforehand. Downtown gets busy on weekend evenings, so leave extra time for traffic and parking, or take the Metro and walk the last part.
Our tips
- Check each show’s page for its age policy and running time before you book.
- Arrive early so you are seated before the start, especially for opera and ballet.
- Pair your show with afternoon tea or dinner nearby: see our afternoon tea guide and dinner and brunch guide.
- Keep an eye on the events list here, which updates as new shows are announced.
