About this event

ARTBAT Presents Upperground 2026 in Dubai brings the Ukrainian duo’s own label and event series to Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience on Saturday 28 November. ARTBAT headline, with Miss Monique, R3HAB and 7 Skies on the bill and one more name still to be revealed on the listing. Doors open at 8pm and the night runs until around 3am, with production by High Scream and the Dubai skyline as a backdrop.

The organisers describe it as a night of melodic electronic sound and large-scale production, and it is part of the venue’s third season.

Who are ARTBAT?

ARTBAT are Artur Kryvenko and Vitaliy “Batish” Limarenko, a DJ and production duo from Kyiv who have been working together since 2014. Their breakthrough came with “Mandrake”, a track Richie Hawtin played in his sets for a year, and in 2018 their single “Taboo” spent eleven weeks at the top of Beatport’s deep house chart.

From 2017 they released on Solomun’s label Diynamic, and their rise was quick: in 2019 they were named Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the DJ Awards, picked as Mixmag Stars of the Year and finished as Beatport’s best-selling artist. Since then they have recorded a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix (November 2023), remixed The Chemical Brothers’ “Hey Boy Hey Girl”, released “Take Off” with Armin van Buuren, and in May 2024 played a sold-out show for 8,000 people at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. In 2025 they entered DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll for the first time, at number 73.

Their newest release is an official rework of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know”, made with David Guetta and keeping the original vocals of Gotye and Kimbra, so expect to hear a few familiar lines in the room.

What Upperground is

ARTBAT launched Upperground in 2021, and its first release was their own track “Flame”. It has since grown into an international label and event concept, with showcases in cities around the world built around the label’s sound and its artists. An Upperground night is ARTBAT’s own curation rather than a standard guest slot, which means a line-up chosen to fit their emotional, driving style and a set from the duo that sits at the centre of the night.

Their sound draws on techno, progressive and melodic house, and their sets tend to build gradually from melodic passages to heavy, relentless peaks, which suits a long night that starts in the evening and runs into the early hours.

The supporting line-up

  • Miss Monique: the Ukrainian DJ and producer, born Alesia Arkusha, built her following through her Mind Games and MiMo Weekly YouTube channels and runs her own label, Siona Records. She won Breakthrough Artist at the 2024 DJ Awards, entered DJ Mag’s Top 100 at number 75 in 2025, and her remix of Sied van Riel’s “Rush” was Beatport’s best-selling progressive house track of 2022.
  • R3HAB: the Dutch DJ and producer is described by the listing as multi-Platinum, and brings big-room experience to the bill.
  • 7 Skies: an Italian DJ and producer, adding another melodic, high-energy set.
  • One more act: the listing shows an additional name still to be confirmed, so check the ticket page closer to the date.

Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience

Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience is the Dubai outpost of the Ibiza brand’s open-air party format, now in its third season at Dubai Harbour. For this night the production is by High Scream, with large-scale visuals and views across the Dubai skyline. The venue is accessible to People of Determination, and smoking is allowed on site.

By car, follow Financial Center Road on to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, turn right and follow the Dubai Harbour signs to the parking area. The nearest Metro station is Nakheel Harbour and Tower on the Red Line, about 5 km away, so you will need a taxi for the last stretch. Most Dubai taxi drivers know the venue, which is useful for the 3am finish.

Entry rules

  • Strictly 21+, with original Emirates ID or original passport only; copies are not accepted.
  • Casual dress code, though the listing excludes flip-flops and some other attire, so read the full policy on Platinumlist before you go.
  • No re-entry once you are inside.
  • No photography or videography, no outside food or drink, and nothing that could cause injury or a public nuisance.

Who it suits

This is a night for melodic techno and house fans who want to see ARTBAT in their own setting, Upperground followers who know the label’s releases, and anyone who enjoys big outdoor production with a skyline view. It is less suited to anyone after a quiet night, as it runs late and loud.
