Salah El Daly Live Stand-Up Comedy 2026 in Dubai is the Egyptian comedian’s first solo show in the city, taking place at the Emirates International School Auditorium on Al Thanya Street in Jumeirah on Saturday 14 November. Presented by Mystic Entertainment, the night is performed entirely in Arabic and promises sharp everyday observations, plenty of crowd interaction and a show that leans as much on theatre as on the microphone. Gates open at 7pm and the comedy starts at 8pm.
Who is Salah El Daly?
Salah El Daly, whose name is also written Salah Al-Dali, has more than 12 years of comedy behind him. He is known for a smooth, easy delivery and a knack for turning ordinary moments, the kind everyone recognises from family life, work and the street, into lines that stick. Much of his audience first found him through his online comedy videos, which have racked up millions of views.
His stage and screen work has made him a familiar face across the Arab entertainment world. He has appeared in theatre productions alongside Menna Shalaby, Donia Samir Ghanem, Amina Khalil and Mostafa Khater, and he played a character in a Ramadan television series led by Donia Samir Ghanem. On the big screen, he starred in the Saudi film Fakhr Al-Suwaidi.
A first solo night in Dubai
Dubai audiences may have seen Salah before as part of a line-up. In May 2023 he was one of seven Egyptian comedians in Stand-Up Belmasry, an Egyptian Arabic comedy night at the Dubai Comedy Festival in the Mall of the Emirates theatre. He has also toured the region, with stand-up shows in Jeddah and at the Al Ain Municipality Theatre.
This time the whole evening is his. A solo show gives a comedian room to build longer stories and call back to earlier jokes, and the organisers describe it as a lively theatrical experience rather than a plain stand-up set, which fits a performer who has spent so much of his career on theatre stages. Their own pitch is simple: put the scrolling on hold and bring your people.
What to expect from the show
- Arabic throughout: every part of the show is in Arabic, so it is best enjoyed by people who follow the language well enough to catch wordplay and quick asides.
- Crowd work: Salah brings the audience into the show from start to finish, so people in the front rows should be ready to become part of a joke.
- Observational comedy: his material is drawn from everyday life, which is why his clips travel so widely online.
- A recorded night: the organiser is recording the show, which is why photography and filming by the audience are not allowed once it begins.
The venue: Emirates International School Auditorium
The show takes place in the auditorium of Emirates International School in Jumeirah, on Al Thanya Street. Seating is split into three categories: VIP and Gold on the ground floor and Silver on the first floor. Within each category the seats are general admission and first come, first served, so arriving close to the 7pm gate opening is how you get a good spot in your section.
Accessibility is worth knowing about in advance. There are a few steps up to the auditorium for VIP and Gold, and there is no lift to the Silver seats on the first floor. Guests with limited mobility may want to bear that in mind when choosing a category.
Getting there
By car, take Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and leave at Exit 41 towards Al Thanya Street, take the second exit at the roundabout, make a U-turn and then turn right; the organisers recommend following GPS. Paid RTA parking outside the venue is available but limited. By bus, routes 12, 93 and F29 stop at Thanaya Junction 2, around a 15 minute walk away. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are an easy alternative.
Good to know
The show is strictly for ages 12 and over, and there is no waiting area for younger children, so plan childcare if needed. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Snacks and drinks can be bought at the venue or a nearby café, but must be finished in the foyer: only water is allowed in the auditorium. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas where the venue provides them.
Punctuality matters here. Because the show is being recorded, anyone arriving more than 10 minutes after the 8pm start will be seated at the back only. Tickets are non-refundable except in exceptional cases agreed between the organiser and the ticketing platform, though Platinumlist does offer a resale option to pass your ticket to another fan.
Who it suits
This is a night for Arabic-speaking comedy fans, particularly anyone who enjoys Egyptian humour or already follows Salah’s videos. It works well for a group of friends or family members over 12, and for anyone who has seen him on stage or screen and wants to catch him in a full-length set.
