What Financially Savii Women offers
How it started
Financially Savii Women was started in Dubai in 2024 by Jane and Nichola. Neither grew up talking about money at home, and both learned to invest through trial and error. They noticed how rarely women discussed investing and set up a space to change that. The first meetup took place in May 2024 at The Bureau in Gold & Diamond Park.
Investing 101 workshops
The core programme is Investing 101, a beginner-friendly workshop held roughly once a month in Al Quoz. It covers building a low-cost portfolio, ETFs, Sharia-compliant options, retirement planning and how to open an investment account, followed by an online follow-up session. The October 2026 workshop was priced at AED 1,039, and places are limited.
Savii Socials and the book club
Savii Socials are relaxed, no-agenda meetups at rotating venues, such as Uptown Social in JLT and Juan Valdez Café in Jumeirah. The FSW Book Club has covered titles including Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Psychology of Money and The Richest Man in Babylon.
Advanced sessions and special events
For members ready for more, FSW has run sessions on Angel Investing 101 and AI and personal finance, plus one-off events such as a Community Iftar and a “Become Financially Fearless” bootcamp. Its biggest event of the year is Women & Wealth, where it shares the Women & Wealth in the UAE report produced with Tribe, which looks at how women across the UAE save, invest and think about money.
