Tahsin Hasoğlu Live 2027 in Dubai brings one of Turkey’s most popular young stand-up comedians to The New Covent Garden Theatre at Mall of the Emirates for a solo show performed in Turkish. It is a Friday night built around the small, familiar moments everyone lives through, retold as stories that land with a room full of people who recognise every detail.

Who is Tahsin Hasoğlu?

Tahsin Hasoğlu came up through BKM Mutfak, the Istanbul comedy collective behind a number of Turkey’s current stand-up names. Like a lot of comedians of his generation, he built a wide following through short comedy clips shared online, and those videos brought new audiences into his live shows.

According to a study by the Turkish ticketing platform Bubilet, reported in December 2024, his show was the best-selling stand-up performance in Turkey that year, ahead of many longer-established names. The Dubai listing describes him as one of the strongest voices of the new generation in Turkish comedy, and his tour has also taken him to Turkish-speaking audiences abroad, including a date in Bergen, Norway.

What his comedy is like

Hasoğlu works in the observational tradition. His material starts with everyday life and finds the absurd side of it, and the show listing names the themes directly:

The venue: The New Covent Garden Theatre

The New Covent Garden Theatre is on Level 2 of Mall of the Emirates in Al Barsha, on Sheikh Zayed Road. The single most useful thing to know is how to get in: access to the theatre is strictly from the parking area, and there is no entrance from inside the mall. If you walk through the shops looking for it, you will need to head back out to the car park.

Seating is split across stalls and circle, with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum categories in each, so you can choose between being close to the stage at stalls level or watching from the raised circle.

Getting there

Driving is the most direct way to reach the theatre entrance. Park on Level 2, in Orange Zone A5 or A6, which is the closest parking to the theatre door. By Dubai Metro, take the Red Line to Mall of the Emirates station (R32). By taxi, ask for Mall of the Emirates and get dropped at the Taxi Drop-Off at Entrance A, then take the lift or escalator up to Level 2 and follow the route through the parking area.
