About this event

Move, Connect, Feel is a short series of outdoor wellness sessions at Jubilee Park, Expo City Dubai, presented with lululemon and led by the brand’s local ambassadors. Over two evenings at the end of October there are three sessions to choose from: a yoga-inspired moving meditation on Friday and two Pilates-based classes on Saturday, one of them timed for sunset.

The name sums up the intention. Each session is meant to get you moving, put you in a group of people doing the same and send you home feeling more settled than when you arrived. It is a guided class in the open air rather than a festival, and it is aimed at people of every fitness level.

The three sessions

You book the session you want rather than a pass for the whole series, so it is worth reading what each one involves. Two of the three have their own descriptions from the organisers; the third comes from the line-up announced for the series.

SANCTUM Flow

Friday’s session is SANCTUM Flow, described as a moving meditation shaped by music, presence and group energy. It blends ancient practice with a contemporary feel and asks for slow, intentional movement rather than speed or strength. Breathwork, immersive sound and storytelling are part of the format. It is led by SANCTUM Master Guide and lululemon Ambassador Kaya, together with SANCTUM guide and lululemon Ambassador Daria.

If you tend to find a standard yoga class too fast, or you are curious about meditation but struggle to sit still, this is the one to try. The ticket page lists Friday’s session from 7pm to 8pm.

Move Freely

Move Freely is a gentle, uplifting Pilates flow held on Saturday as the sun goes down, with the focus on slow movement and deep breathing. It is led by lululemon Ambassador Kiki. Pilates newcomers will find it a friendly starting point, and regulars get a rare chance to do their practice outdoors in a park rather than on a reformer in a studio. The ticket page lists Saturday’s session from 5pm.

Strength to Stillness

Also on Saturday, Strength to Stillness starts with purposeful Pilates, moves into flowing movement and ends with guided breathwork. It is led by lululemon Ambassadors Parisa and Michele. Choose this one if you want to feel your muscles working before you slow right down.

How the evening runs

Registration and doors open an hour before each session, and the organisers recommend arriving early so entry runs smoothly. That hour is not dead time: good-mood food and wellness experiences are set up for guests as they arrive, so you can eat something light, meet the people you will be practising beside and settle in before the class begins.

Yoga mats are provided at Jubilee Park, so there is no need to carry your own. The dress code is sportswear. The organisers do not list anything else you need to bring.

The sessions involve physical movement, and taking part is voluntary. Everyone is responsible for their own well-being, so if you have an injury or are new to exercise, go at a pace that feels right and skip anything that does not.

Who it suits

  • Beginners: the sessions are open to men and women of all fitness levels and two of the three are built around slow movement.
  • Yoga and Pilates regulars who want to practise outdoors and in a group, with instructors they may not have met before.
  • Friends looking for a calmer Friday or Saturday evening plan than dinner and drinks.
  • Teenagers aged 16 and over, who meet the minimum age and can join a parent or friends.

Anyone under 16 cannot attend, so this is not one for younger children. If you are planning a family outing, our kids’ events in Dubai page has better options.

The lululemon connection

The series has been organised with lululemon to mark the Dubai Fitness Challenge. Attendees receive a lululemon gift card, valid on one purchase in store until 30 October 2026. Because that date falls on the first day of the series, anyone booked for a Saturday session should check how the card can be used before relying on it.

Jubilee Park and getting there

Jubilee Park is one of the green spaces inside Expo City Dubai. Parking is provided around a five-minute walk from the park, and buggy transfers run between the car park and the venue if you would rather not walk. If you prefer the Metro, EXPO 2020 Metro Station is the stop to use.

Expo City applies its own venue rules, and they are stricter than many people expect for a yoga class. Leave these at home:

  • Power banks, laptops, tablets, glass items, bottle openers, perfume over 20ml and umbrellas.
  • Foldable or inflatable seating, tripods, selfie sticks, drones and professional camera gear, including lenses over 35mm.
  • Bicycles, e-scooters, scooters, skates and skateboards.
  • Outside food, except baby food and medically required dietary items.
  • Political or religious banners, flags or clothing, and items with offensive wording.

Smoking is allowed only in designated areas, and venue management can refuse entry, confiscate prohibited items or remove anyone whose items or behaviour are considered unsafe.

Before you book

Tickets are final and non-refundable, but they can be passed on to another attendee if your plans change, which is useful if a friend can take your place. Book the specific session you want, since each one is ticketed on its own.
