Love, Money and Legal Protection 2026 in Dubai is a morning session for women hosted by Financially Savii Women at RAG Business Hub in Al Wasl on Saturday 7 November 2026. Guest speaker Samara Iqbal, Managing Partner and Founder of Aramas International Lawyers, leads an open, candid conversation about where relationships, money and the law overlap. It runs from 10am to 12:30pm.
About Love, Money and Legal Protection in Dubai
We talk a lot about earning, saving and investing money. Far fewer of us talk about protecting it. This session is built around the questions many women living in the UAE have never quite asked out loud.
The organisers describe it as a conversation rather than a lecture. It is a chance to sit in a room with a practising lawyer and other women working through the same questions, and to hear how others have handled their own situations.
What to Expect
The Big Questions
The session is framed around a few honest questions:
- Do you understand how UAE laws might affect you as an expat?
- Have you thought about what would happen to your assets if your circumstances changed?
- How much of what you believe about your legal rights is based on fact, and how much on something you heard from a friend?
Samara Iqbal
Samara Iqbal is the Managing Partner and Founder of Aramas International Lawyers. She joins Financially Savii Women to speak directly about love, money and legal protection, and to take questions from the room.
A Relaxed Room
Expect a relaxed setting rather than a formal seminar. Bring your questions and share only what you are comfortable sharing. Coffee or tea is included on arrival.
Why It Is Worth Going
For many expats, life is built across more than one country. Family might be in one place, savings in another and a partner from somewhere else again. A rule you know from home may not work the same way in the UAE, and the gap is usually discovered at the worst moment.
The session does not promise to turn anyone into a legal expert in two and a half hours. The aim is to help you work out which questions to ask about your own situation. General discussion is not a substitute for advice on your own case, but it can be a useful starting point for a proper consultation afterwards.
