About this event

ARTE Museum Dubai is an immersive digital art museum on Level 2 of The Dubai Mall, where 14 multi-sensory zones of projected waterfalls, flowers, oceans and starlit beaches surround you with light, sound and scent. Created by d’strict, the Korean digital design company that launched the first ARTE Museum in 2020, the Dubai venue opened in February 2024 and covers around 30,000 square feet under the theme ‘Eternal Nature’.

Eternal Nature at ARTE Museum Dubai

The exhibition is built around the idea of meeting nature beyond time and space. Using generative art technology, many of the works never repeat exactly: flowers bloom continuously, waves keep rolling and landscapes shift as you move through them. The result feels hyper-realistic without trying to copy nature literally, and the scale of the rooms, with floor-to-ceiling projections and mirrored walls, is what makes it so photogenic.

The sound and scent are just as deliberate as the visuals. The soundscape was created by composer Young-gyu Jang, whose film and television scores include Train to Busan and Mask Girl, and it layers detailed nature sounds with evocative music, especially in the GARDEN rooms. Perfumer Marianne Nawrocki Sabatier, of the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, designed natural fragrances tailored to each artwork, so every zone smells different from the last. The scents are harmless and simply complement what you see and hear.

The 14 Zones

Each room tells its own story. Waterfall Infinite fills the walls with cascading water, while Flower Rose explores the symbolism of the rose and Flower Odyssey creates a constantly changing field of blooms. Starry Beach is an otherworldly beachscape, Ocean lets you experience the sea as if from the deck of a ship, and Ice captures the grandeur of glaciers. Forest offers a calm, spiritual woodland, and Coral Reef brings sea life and coral art to the walls.

Several zones are tied to place and painting. Life in the UAE traces the country’s journey from desert landscapes to contemporary cities and landmarks, and it is one of two works created for this market, inspired by the region’s landscapes and heritage, alongside GARDEN ‘Light of Dubai’. Garden Paintings of Joseon and Garden Light Masterpieces turn classic artworks into moving gardens, Live Canvas Desert brings a desert scene to life, and Flower Rose Piano adds music to the rose theme.

Tea Bar and VIP Options

There are three ways to visit. General Admission covers entry to the museum. The General Admission and ARTE Tea Bar option adds a stop at the tea bar, where tea-based mocktails are infused with flavours matched to the zones and served with projected visuals around you. The VIP ticket adds a personalised docent-led tour, VIP lounge access, complimentary refreshments, priority admission and two souvenirs from the ARTE Shop. Hotel transfers and food and drink are not included.

Visiting During ISEA2026 and Opening Hours

Between 6 and 15 November 2026, Dubai hosts ISEA2026, the International Symposium on Electronic Art, organised with Dubai Culture under the theme ‘ELYAH: Constellating Place, Data and Identity’. ARTE Museum is one of the programme’s venues, and one listing shows general admission paused for those dates and resuming on 16 November, while another offers ISEA2026 admission with the tea bar, so check your booking if you plan to visit that week.

Standard opening hours on the ticket listing are 10am until 11pm from Monday to Thursday, with last admission at 10pm, and 10am until midnight from Friday to Sunday, with last admission at 11pm. The museum notes it may change hours or close exhibits without notice for private events.

Good to Know Before You Go

Running is not allowed because of the mirrored walls and low lighting, and you should not touch or lean on the exhibits. No food or drink is permitted inside the exhibition, including water, gum and sweets, and glassware and alcohol cannot be brought in. Children aged 13 and under must be with a guardian. Pregnant women, older visitors and anyone sensitive to low light are advised to come with a companion, and visitors with conditions such as heart disease or seizures should take care. The whole experience is wheelchair accessible. Dress is casual, but beachwear is not allowed. Carry a valid photo ID, and note that tickets are non-refundable.

The museum is a few minutes from Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station, and RTA buses 27, C26 and X28 also serve The Dubai Mall, which has extensive parking.
